The company focuses on the agricultural sectors of cereals, oilseeds as well as animal feed, fertilizers, plant protection and seeds. Further business activities exist in the areas of agricultural technology and energy. In addition, retail is carried out in the Raiffeisen markets. The building materials trade also plays a significant economic role.

The company we present is a wholesale partner of the local primary cooperatives, which are responsible for business with farmers. In regions without primary cooperatives, subsidiaries of the company supply farmers directly.

Challenges

What problems does Axxerion solve at the cooperative?

After a 3-year preparatory phase, the length of which was due to the complex structure of the company, the company began actively using Axxerion in 2020.

The result

What are the results of the CAFM rollout?

The company now controls its service providers through the evaluations in Axxerion. The basis for assessments are questions such as „What plant failures are there? How many failures do we register and at which location; at which facility?“. In the company we presented, the result has far-reaching implications – right down to real estate value in asset management.

Meanwhile, other departments (such as controlling, IT, insurance, occupational safety, QM, energy management) are also showing interest in Axxerion’s areas of application, as the system has proven itself in the field of property management. This results in cross-departmental synergy effects within the company.

Recommendations for the implementation and application of Axxerion

„There should always be a contact person who takes care exclusively of this matter, the implementation of the software, project management, the control of the programmers, the service providers – so that someone on the client side is exclusively concerned with this! This must also be someone who has experience in process management, at best also in IT, so that they simply understand the different levels and also develop processes. You first have to know how to work before you can know what you want!

In order to start the project and bring it to a successful conclusion, you need to know what you have and what the current status of the company is: How do I work? What are my processes? How do we even do that? What do we actually want to improve?

You have to know what you want to represent in the software – quality management is important! The more a company knows about its own department and its working methods, the better it can bundle them.“

Experiences with Axxerion

One of the most important reasons for introducing the software solution was the flexibility of Axxerion – that you can influence the control and programming yourself and that Axxerion runs in a workflow-oriented manner.
