Our customer from the gas station operator industry presented in this case study is a subsidiary of Phillips 66.*

The US company, headquartered in Houston, Texas, processes and markets petroleum products in over 15 countries. Phillips 66 employs approximately 14,000 people worldwide. It operates around 10,000 petrol stations in the USA, Germany, Great Britain, Austria and Switzerland (in a joint venture).

  • Follow-up of disruptions and control of service providers: Are the SLAs (Service Level Agreements) complied with? Are contracted response times respected?
  • Overview of which batches and equipment are particularly prone to failure: locating the largest failure factors throughout Germany
  • Desire for an equipment database: Which location has which equipment? How old are individual components?
  • Be able to make strategic decisions regarding the maintenance and/or eventual replacement of entire equipment

    Representative reports can simply be pulled from Axxerion „“ without any time expenditure – this was previously done through multi-day surveys in which differently well-maintained data from different bodies had to be compiled.

„Things that were initially thought to be a good idea had to be adjusted afterwards. Sometimes it comes to the realization that at the beginning we went too deep into the subject matter and laid out workflows in too complex a way.

It was possible to broadly expand the system, which was individually adapted to our needs, and –where necessary– to move away from overly complicated workflow ideas in order to make it as easy as possible for employees to use the software.

A major advantage of Axxerion is its flexibility and the ability to work with mavorest consultants to build your own workflows the way you want them and to customize them later. Sometimes it only becomes clear over time which process steps follow one another and who should be involved.

For us, the central benefit is the easy evaluability of all the information we now have in the system: the SSOT (Single Source Of Truth), both for documents, as well as for appointments and equipment. Another big plus is the ubiquitous access option –no matter where I am, no matter what medium is available to me!“
